Samuel Chukwueze joins AC Milan on a long-term deal

AC Milan has confirmed the signing of Super Eagles winger, Samuel Chukwueze from La Liga side, Villarreal.

The Rossoneri confirmed the news on its official website on Thursday, July 27, 2023. Samuel Chukwuwze is the fifth official player that the Serie A club will sign during the 2023 summer transfer window signed this 2023 after the arrival of Christian Pulisic, Tijjani Reijnders, Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Noah Okafor.

AC Milan paid €20 million for the Nigeerian plus €8 million in add-ons. He signed a five-year contract with the Serie A side and he is expected to earn €4m per season.

The 24-year-old will be a huge boost to the Milan team going into next season. He had 24 goals contribution across all competitions, which is the highest he has registered in a single season for Villarreal.

Chukwueze will wear the number 21 jersey, he will fly out to the United States of America where he can join up with the rest of the Milan squad on their pre-season tour.
