Sadio Mane Set for a Premier League Return

Former Liverpool Player, Sadio Mane could be on his way back to the Premier League after leaving for a season.

There are reports from Sky Sports News that the Senegalese is part of the players that the club will clear out when the summer transfer window opens in July 2023. Mane joined the Bavarians from Liverpool during the 2022 summer transfer window but seems to be surplus to requirements at the club.

He has scored 12 goals and provided six assists, however, the Senegal international has since fallen out of favor following the appointment of former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel.

Things then turned worse for the forward player when the club decided to suspend him for allegedly punching Leroy Sane following the Champions League clash with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.

Joao Cancelo could also return to the Etihad following reports that Bayern might not trigger the option to buy the Portuguese on a permanent deal.
