Sadio Mane Meets with Bayern Munich's Board Concerning His Future

There have been a lot of uncertainties around the future of Sadio Mane at Liverpool in the past weeks following his lack of getting game time under Thomas Tuchel.

The former Liverpool man has been linked with a return to the English Premier League at the end of this season. However, transfer news expert, Fabrizio Romano debunked the rumor via his official Twitter account on Thursday, May 18th, 2023.

He said Mane is focused on his future with Bayern and he is interested in staying at the Bavarian club at least until his contract expires in the summer of 2025.

Understand talks took place recently between Bayern, Sadio Mané, and his agency in order to clarify things after a difficult first season for the winger. Mané wants to stay, he hopes to win titles and change his history at Bayern next season.

He has scored 12 goals and provided six assists, however, the Senegal international has since fallen out of favor following the appointment of Tuchel. Things then turned worse for the forward player when the club decided to suspend him for allegedly punching Leroy Sane following the Champions League clash with Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium.
