Romeo Lavia reportedly ruled out for six weeks

The stakeholders at Chelsea Football Club might not be catching a break anytime soon when it comes to the injury situation at the club.

There are reports from the club that Romeo Lavia suffered an injury in training as he looks forward to his debut game for the Blues. According to the Daily Mail, the midfielder will be out of action for the next six weeks which means, he would not be available until the middle of October 2023.

The 58 million pounds player has been trying to his fitness since joining Chelsea, he has either had full training or played since completing his move to Stamford Bridge.

The two-time UEFA Champions League winner have been on the wrong side when it comes to injury this season. They lost Wesley Fofana, Trevoh Chalobah and Christoper Nkunku to injuries during the preseason games in the United States.

The team's captain Reece James suffered a hamstring issue in training following Chelsea’s season opener against Liverpool and Carney Chukwuemeka a knee injury in the defeat at West Ham.
