Roberto Carlos breaks silence on his divorce Saga

Brazil's legend, Roberto Carlos, has decided to clear the air about his recent divorce saga that has seen him spend the last few nights at the training facility of Real Madrid.

Roberto Carlos took to his official X account on Thursday, January 9, 2025, to give a brief explanation of the recent situation and also to give a clear direction on the recent situation with his wife.

"In recent days, I have become aware of false and damaging stories circulating about me and my family. While I value privacy, I feel compelled to address the baseless rumours about my living situation. These fabricated stories are entirely false and seem designated to generate clicks. I remain at a private residence, supported by members of my family. My legal team is reviewing these claims and will take appropriate action. I ask for privacy regarding personal matters and thank those who continue to support me during this time.”

Recall that a Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo reported that Carlos had resorted to sleeping at the Valdebebas training ground, where Real Madrid usually has its training sessions. The couple who have been married for 15 years, both have two daughters, Manuela and Mariana, are reportedly locked in a legal dispute over Carlos’ £133m (€160m).

Roberto Carlos is known for his audacious free-kicks while he was playing football for both his club and country. During his time at Real Madrid, Roberto Carlos won an impressive array of silverware, including four La Liga titles and three UEFA Champions League trophies.
