With reports hinting that Kylian Mbappe has agreed to make a move to the Spanish giants Real Madrid, here is how much the French international might just get from completing the deal.

Following an official confirmation of Kylian Mbappe leaving PSG at the end of the 2023/2024 club football season, speculations of the next destination of one of the biggest football stars today have continued to surface with many pointing towards the direction of the French international finalizing a move to join Real Madrid.

Kylian Mbappé is yet to officially sign a contract with Real Madrid, but according to BBC Sport's Guillem Balague, the deal is set to pay him a staggering €15 million ($16 million) annually for five years, plus a whopping €150 million ($161 million) signing bonus.

Additionally, Mbappé will reportedly be entitled to retain a percentage of his image rights. The transfer from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) to Madrid has been anticipated for quite some time, with world football insider Fabrizio Romano breaking the news last summer that Mbappé was planning to decline his player option for the 2024-25 season with PSG to become a free agent. Balague has further noted that the official announcement of the deal may be made after the current season's UEFA Champions League, where PSG and Madrid could still potentially face each other. Furthermore, it has also been reported that Mbappé met with PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi last week to inform him of his decision to leave for the Spanish capital.
