Real Madrid Star Player Suffer Injury Ahead of Clash Against Manchester City

Real Madrid supporters might not be able to celebrate another UEFA Champions League trophy this season.

The Galactico's key midfielder, Luka Modric suffered an injury that has ruled him out of the Copa Del Rey final against Almeria and probably the first leg of the Champions League game against Manchester City. Real Madrid confirmed the news on its official website on Friday, April 28th, 2023.

The club statement read thus,

Following tests carried out on Luka Modrić by the Real Madrid Medical Services, an injury to the back of his left thigh has been diagnosed. His progress will be monitored.

The Croatian absence from the game will be a big blow to Real Madrid following his fantastic performance for the club this season.
