Real Madrid set to open talks with Chelsea first team player
Chelsea Football Club could lose one of its first-team players to Real Madrid before the end of the 2023 transfer window.
The Galacticos are reportedly set to meet with Kepa Arrizabalaga's camp as they look for a temporary replacement for Thibaut Courtois. The Belgian picked up an ACL injury in training on Thursday, August 10, 2023, and could be out for a long time.
Transfer news expert Fabrizio Romano confirmed on his official Twitter account that Real Madrid will also discuss with Chelsea the best possible way to agree on a deal. Kepa is also reportedly open to joining the La Liga giants, even if it is on a loan deal. There is also a rumour of David De Gea who is a free agent probably joining the club.
If this deal comes to reality, that means Robert Sanchez will be the number-one shot-stopper for Chelsea during the 2023/24 season.
