Real Madrid set to bring in Trent Alexander-Arnold before the Club World Cup

Real Madrid have reportedly approached Liverpool for the possibility of signing Trent Alexander-Arnold before the start of the FIFA club world Cup.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Liverpool have initially announced in a joint statement that both parties will be going their separate ways at the end of the 2024/25 football season. The contract of the defender will expire on June 30, 2025 while Real Madrid's opening game in the tournament is on June 18 against Al Hilal in Miami.
However, if Liverpool refuse to let Alexander-Arnold leave early, the right back could still play in the latter stages of the tournament, although he would miss Madrid's group games against Al Hilal, Pachuca (June 22) and Salzburg (June 27). The clubs playing in the Club World Cup have been given an opportunity to use a special in-tournament window between June 27 and July 3 to register players.
Alexander-Arnold has verbally agreed to join Madrid after announcing he is leaving Liverpool at the end of the season.
