PSG's President Speaks on Reports Linking Zidane to His Club

The President of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, has spoken about the possibility of the club appointing Zinedine Zidane as the club's next coach.

PSG have reportedly terminated the contract of Mauricio Pochetinno but there is no official statement from the club. There have been reports that Zidane will be in charge of the club next season.

Al-Khelaifi confirmed that PSG has never spoken to the former Real Madrid manager as it concerns taking up the managerial role at the Ligue 1 club.

I love Zidane but we’ve never spoken with him. Many clubs are interested in him, national teams as well - not us. Galtier? We are in talks with Nice, it’s no secret. I hope we’ll reach an agreement soon.

PSG are looking to appoint the manager of OG Nice, Galtier's but the two clubs are yet to reach an agreement. However, the Ligue 1 Champions are willing to pay £8.6m to buy the manager out of his contract in the south of France.
