PSG vs. Real Madrid: Messi Misses Penalty As Kylian Mbappe Steals Win For PSG
Kylian Mbappe draws first blood in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 match, PSG vs Real Madrid, as PSG secured a win and an advantage ahead of the French side's visit to Spain.
PSG vs Real Madrid is arguably one of the biggest matches in the UEFA Champions League round of 16 ties. Kylian Mbappe stole the spotlight with his man-of-the-match performance even though Lionel Messi did not get to draw blood in his reunion with old foes.
Neymar Jr. returned to football after his battle with injury in the final minutes of the second half before Kylian Mbappe left it late to score the only goal in the match at the 90+4 minutes to push PSG a step closer into the quarter-finals of the Champions League.
Real Madrid's overall performance was poor, who found it difficult to register a single shot on target as Mbappe ran the show for the entire 90 minutes on the pitch.
However, it is important to note that the new rules in the UEFA Champions League remove the advantage of away goals, and Real Madrid can still make a difference in the second leg o this fixture slated for March 2022.
Manchester City Vs Sporting CP

Sporting CP had tried to play a safe and defensive game against an attacking Manchester City side who opened the scoring sheet in the 7th minute.
