Premier League confirms referee for the game between Chelsea vs Man United

The body in charge of selecting referees for Premier League matches has confirmed the officials that will be in charge of the crunch tie between Chelsea and Manchester United.

The announcement was made on the official website of the Premier League on Tuesday, April 2, 2024. Both teams were coming off disappointing results in their league games against Brentford and Burnley over the weekend.

Both teams will be hoping that they can get maximum points in their quest to finish in a better position at the end of this season. Chelsea are currently in 11th place with 40 points, while United are in sixth place with 48 points.

Who are the officials for the game?

Jarred Gillett has been appointed as the centre referee, while Darren Cann and Neil Davies will be on the sidelines, acting as assistant referees for Gillett during the game.

Tom Bramall has been handed the fourth official job, while the Video Assistant Referee job has been handed to David Coote, who will be assisted by Tim Wood at Stamford Bridge on Thursday, April 4, 2024.
