The decision to postpone the game was announced on the official website of the league. According to reports from the league body, they called the game off because of the recent outbreak of Covid-19 in the camp of Leicester City.
The Premier League said the health of both staff members is important to them, which is why it decided to reschedule the date of the game. Leicester City vs Tottenham's game is the recent game to be called off by the Premier League. The game between Brentford and Manchester United, Burnley vs Watford, was also called off because of the outbreak of the virus in the camp between Manchester United and Watford, respectively.
