Premier League announces nominees for March Player of the month award

Seven players were nominated for the best player of the month award in the English Premier League by the selection committee.

The official website of the Premier League announced the nominees on Thursday, April 4, 2024. The public has been invited to vote for the player they think should win the award.

Here are the nominees:

  1. Alexander Isak:

The Swedish striker scored in all three games he played against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Chelsea, and West Ham United. He also provided an assist in the 4-3 win against West Ham, ending the month with five-goal involvements, which is the highest in the league.

  1. Cole Palmer:

The former Manchester City player has been outstanding for Chelsea Football Club. He scored three goals and provided two assists in March. He assisted a late equalizer at Brentford, scored and set up a goal in a 3-2 win over Newcastle, and netted both goals in a draw with Burnley.

  1. Alexis Mac Allister:

The Liverpool midfielder's form in March was remarkable and caught the attention of the nomination committee. The Argentine was involved in three goals as Liverpool beat Nottingham Forest and Brighton & Hove Albion and drew with Manchester City.

  1. Son Heung-Min:

The South Korean player has been leading Tottenham since the departure of Harry Kane to Bayern Munich. He provided five-goal involvements, which included a home win over Crystal Palace, a late winner against Luton, and a goal and two assists in Spurs' 4-0 away win at top-four rivals Aston Villa.

Other players on the list include Rodrigo Muniz (Fulham), Antoine Semenyo (Bournemouth), and Ben White (Arsenal).
