Premier League announces nominees for the best manager for August

The Premier League manager of the month award is a prestigious honor that acknowledges the outstanding achievements of top-flight managers in the English football landscape.

Each month, a panel of experts selects the most deserving candidate based on their team's performance, tactical acumen, and overall impact on the game. Four managers were nominated for the award following their impressive run in the opening three games of the Premier League season.

Manchester City's manager, Pep Guardiola got a nomination following his team's perfect record in the league with victories over Chelsea, Ipswich and West Ham.

Liverpool's new manager, Arne Slot was also nominated in his first season at Anfield as he is also on a perfect record, the same as Manchester City with victories over Ipswich, Brentford and Manchester United.

Arsenal remain unbeaten this season after two wins and a draw under Mikel Arteta, whose smart substitutions have already yielded success. Leandro Trossard scored just seconds after being introduced against Aston Villa.
