Premier League Announces Manager of the Month for December 2022

The Premier League body have named Mikel Arteta as the manager of the month for November/December 2022.

The Gunners manager was announced as the winner of the award on Friday, January 13th, 2023. Arteta Arteta led Arsenal to four victories from four Premier League matches, winning away against Chelsea, Wolverhampton Wanderers, and Brighton & Hove Albion, as well as beating West Ham United at home.

This is the fourth time that Arteta is winning the manager of the Month Award. He also claimed the honor in September 2021, March 2022, and August 2022.

Arteta beat fellow nominees Thomas Frank, Eddie Howe, and Jurgen Klopp after votes from the public were combined. The award is a double celebration for the Gunners following the announcement of Martin Odegaard as the winner of the player of the month award.
