Premier League Announces Young Player Of The 2022/2023 Season Nominees

The Premier League has confirmed the full list of nominees for the young player of the 2022/2023 season.

In an official announcement today, Thursday, May 18, 2023, the organizers of the Premier League announced a total of eight nominees for the Young Player of the Season award.

The list consisted of players at the age of 23 or younger who contributed to their side's success in the current Premier League season.

Some of the names on the list did not come as a shock to many, as the immense contribution to their side was visible in the results the team had gotten in over 33 games played in the league so far.

All the nominees that made the shortlist consisted of players from only three clubs that are currently in the top half of the table.

Erling Haaland (Manchester City)

Bukayo Saka (Arsenal)

Martin Odegaard (Arsenal)

Sven Botman (Newcastle United)

Moises Caicedo (Brighton Hove Albion)

Alexander Isak (Newcastle United)

Alexis Mac Allister (Brighton Hove Albion)

Gabriel Martinelli (Arsenal)
