Pochettino reacts to Chelsea's disappointing result against Burnley
Chelsea supporters were left disappointed after their team failed to get maximum points in the Premier League game against Burnley.
The Blues came into the game in 11th place and a win against relegation-threatened Burnley would have gotten them into the top half of the table. However, Chelsea showed a replica of what they have done in most parts of the season by failing to win the game.
The manager of the London club, Mauricio Pochettino apologised to the supporters of the club after the 2-2 scoreline at Stamford Bridge. According to him, this was a disappointing result and there was no justification for not winning the match.
He said,
"I am sorry. We didn't show the capacity, energy, hunger, the minimum to compete. That's why I am so upset and disappointed. It is difficult to accept not to win the game because it was a must-win game. It is not to blame the players, it’s to blame everyone."
