The head coach of Chelsea Football Club, Mauricio Pochettino has cleared the air about the possibility of Kylian Mbappe joining his club

The Argentine was speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of the Blues Premier League summer series match against Newcastle United. He said the reality of Kylian Mbappe and Chelsea are different but he hopes the player and PSG sort out their differences.

"We are working on our reality, our reality is different. From my side, nothing to say. I just hope they find a solution for both sides. I love PSG, I was a player and coach there and I love Kylian."

Pochettino has always insisted that Chelsea needs senior players in the squad even though he enjoys the enterprising football the youngsters have shown in this pre-season.

However, Saudi Arabia club side, Al Hilal has submitted an official bid for the winger. The deal is reported to be worth around €300 million, a transfer fee that will be the highest for any player in the history of football.
