5 Players who could leave Chelsea this 2024 summer transfer window

Chelsea Football Club is known for being one of the busiest clubs in the Premier League during the transfer window, with players coming in and leaving Stamford Bridge.

Since the 2024 summer transfer window opened, Chelsea has signed five new players. However, some players need to leave Chelsea so they can maintain financial stability and adhere to profitability and sustainability rules.

The club has released a list of 28 players who traveled to the United States for their 2024/25 pre-season tour.

Notably, Tervoh Chalobah was left out of the squad that traveled to the US, much to the disappointment of the club's supporters. Djordje Petrovic did not join the team due to an injury but is expected to join the squad later.

Here are some players who could leave Stamford Bridge before the 2024 summer transfer window closes:

  1. Conor Gallagher:

There are reports that the England international could join Atlético Madrid this summer. Gallagher, who came through the academy, is one of the players who could bring pure profit to Chelsea if sold.

  1. Trevoh Chalobah:

The defender has been deemed surplus to requirements at Chelsea after being left out of the pre-season squad. Just like Gallagher, selling Chalobah would bring pure profit to the club as he also came through the academy. He will likely leave this summer, given the interest from other clubs.

  1. Kepa Arrizabalaga:

The Spaniard has struggled to secure his place at Chelsea and has expressed his desire to return to Real Madrid. His future at Chelsea seems uncertain under Enzo Maresca.

  1. Djordje Petrovic:

The Serbian international could also be on his way out of Chelsea, especially if the club signs a new goalkeeper, potentially leading to Petrovic's departure from Stamford Bridge.

  1. Armando Broja:

The forward was loaned to Fulham in January 2024 to gain more playing time and improve his game, but the loan spell did not go as planned. It's unlikely that Chelsea will retain him given his lack of game time and form during the loan spell.
