The manager of Manchester City, Pep Guardiola has spoken about the rumour that is linking him to taking over the Brazilian national team.

The Spaniard was quoted in an interview that was reported on the official account of City Xtra, an account that is focused on all the news that concerns Manchester City. Guardiola ruled out the chance of him taking charge of the South American country.

The Manchester City manager will run out of his contract at the end of the 2022/23 football season and does not look like he will renew his contract at the end of the season. According to reports, he is will be going on a sabbatical leave at the end of his contract with the Cityzens.

The Brazilian Men's national team have won the FIFA World Cup five times which they last won in 2002 when it was hosted in Korea and Japan. The Samba boys will hope the win the tournament for the sixth time when the competition will be hosted in Qatar.
