Former Manchester United player, Patrice Evra has made a shocking revelation about his days in the French national team.
The defender was speaking in an interview with a media personality from Ghana, Nana Aba during his stay at the West African nation. Evea confirmed that regretted that he chose to represent the French national team instead of Senegal.
When I was young, my parents gave me the chance to choose my national team and because I grew up in France, I chose France. If I could go back, I would choose to represent my native country, Senegal, instead of France. One of the most painful lessons I learned is that when you win, you are French; when the team loses, you are Senegalese.
The left-back was not part of the French national team that won the FIFA World Cup in 1998 and 2018 despite his great achievements for Manchester United.
