The Super Falcons of Nigeria have qualified for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris, France after beating South Africa 1-0 on aggregate. This marks the first time in 16 years that the West African team has earned a spot at the Olympics.

Despite a strong offensive effort from South Africa, the Falcons' defense held strong and prevented any goals from being scored. In the end, Rasheedat Ajibade's first-half goal in the home tie was enough to secure Nigeria's place in Paris.

The Super Falcons have been placed in Group C alongside Brazil, Japan, and Spain, while Zambia also secured their spot in the Olympics by beating Morocco 3-1 on aggregate to claim the second ticket slotted to Africa.
