D'Tigress get drawn against tough opponents ahead of Olympic games

The women's basketball national team in Nigeria, D'Tigress have been drawn against some of the powerhouses in the world at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

D’Tigress secured their spot in the Olympics despite failing to win a game during the qualifying tournament which was held in Antwerp, Belgium. The West African team were placed in Group B which includes Canada, Australia, and host nation France.

D’Tigress will play their opening game against Australia on July 29, 2024, before facing the host nation France on August 1, 2024, followed by a match against Canada three days later on August 4.
