Ole Gunnar Solskjaer reportedly set for a Premier League return

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer may be returning to the Premier League three years after being sacked by Manchester United.

Reports suggest that the former Manchester United manager is being considered for a move to Leicester City, who recently lost their manager, Enzo Maresca, to Chelsea Football Club. According to the Sun, Leicester City has reached out to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as they seek to appoint a new manager before the 2024/25 football season begins.

Previously, Solskjaer was linked with the head coach position in Canada before Jesse Marsch was appointed last month. He also missed out on the Besiktas position, losing to Giovanni Van Bronckhorst earlier this week.

In September 2023, the six-time Premier League winner announced that he had taken on a new role as a UEFA technical observer, which involves attending Champions League fixtures and providing reports throughout the season.

Leicester City supporters will be hoping that the club's board can finalize the deal for a new manager before the pre-season commences for the upcoming season.
