OFFICIAL: Newcastle United Confirm Signing of Bruno Guimaraes

Newcastle United have confirmed the signing of Bruno Guimaraes from Olympique Lyon on a permanent basis.

Newcastle United confirmed the news on its official website on Sunday, January 30th, 2022. According to reports, both clubs agreed on a deal that is said to be around €50.1 million plus an add-on which includes 20℅ future sale percentage.

Guimaraes joined Lyon after winning the Gold medal with the Brazilian U-23 national team at the just concluded Summer Olympic Games hosted in Tokyo, Japan.

The Brazilian is Newcastle United's third signing of the January transfer window after the signing of Kieran Trippier from Atletico Madrid and Chris Wood from Burnley.
