OFFICIAL: Manchester City Confirm the Signing of Erling Haaland

Manchester City football club have confirmed that they have agreed in principle a contract with the Norwegian striker Erling Haaland.

The news was confirmed on the official website of Manchester City on Tuesday, May 10th, 2022. According to reports from the club, Haaland will be unveiled as a player of the Cityzens when the transfer window opens on July 1st, 2022.

There have been reports that Manchester City will pay a fee of around €60 million to €75 million. Haaland is expected to earn at least 375,000 a week, equalling the same amount that Kevin De Bruyne earns at the club.

Manchester City fans will hope the signing of Haaland will bring the club success in the UEFA Champions League next season.
