Everton have confirmed the loan move of Donny Van de Beek from Manchester United until the end of the season.

Van de Beek's move to Goodison Park was confirmed on Everton's official website on Monday, January 31st, 2022. According to reports from the club, the Dutch player will remain at the club until the end of the 2021/22 season, without an option to buy.

Manchester United's board are keen to having the player at the start of the 2022/23 football season. According to reports from the club, the hierarchy wants the future of Van de Beek to be decided by whoever is the manager next season.

The Dutch player expressed his delight as ot concerns joining Everton gor the rest of the season. He also confirmed that he has spoken to Lampard ahead of the move to the Merseyside club.

I had a real positive meeting with the new coach. We have the same ideas about football and he had a lot of influence on my decision.

The player joined Manchester United in the summer transfer window of 2020/21 season. He has played just 27 games for the Red Devils and scored just two goals.

Van de Beek will hope he gets his form at the Merseyside team whenever he is called upon which will give him a shot at representing the Dutch at the Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.
