OFFICIAL: Anthony Martial Joins Sevilla on Loan from Manchester United

Anthony Martial has completed his loan deal from Manchester United to Sevilla until the end of the season.

Sevilla confirmed the loan deal on its official website on Wednesday, January 26th, 2022. The French striker wanted a move out of Old Trafford because of a lack of playing time at the club.

Manchester United opted out for an option to buy in the deal because they want him to be part of the deal next season when the new manager comes in.

Martial joined Manchester United from Monaco during the summer of 2015 for 60 million euros. He had his best season in the 2019/20 season scoring 23 goals and 12 assists for himself. Sevilla fans will hope he can have a replica of that season whenever he is called on to play for them.
