Nottingham Forest Manager Speaks on Dean Henderson's Situation Ahead of Carabao Cup Semi-final

Newly promoted Premier League side, Nottingham Forest are reportedly set to send an appeal to Manchester United ahead of the Carabao Cup game.

The Reds goalkeeper, Dean Henderson who is on a season loan deal from Manchester United will not be eligible to play both legs of the semi-final clash. He saved two spot kicks in the Quater-final game against Wolves which helped Forest advance to the last four.

Nottingham Forest won the game 4-2 on penalties after playing 1-1 in regulation time.

Forest manager, Steve Copper said, the club are looking to meet with Manchester United for a discussion.

It’s something we will look into the possibility of pursuing. But it’s all just talk at the minute. We haven’t really had a chance to breathe since the game. We’ll pick that up as and when.

The rule in the Premier League prohibits a player who is on loan should player against his parent club.
