(3) Pep Guardiola (Man City)

Man City recorded a memorable 3-0 Manchester derby win, which they followed up with a resolute defensive display in a 1-1 draw at Arsenal before ending the month with a 5-1 thrashing of Burnley.
(4) Regis Le Bris (Sunderland)
Le Bris' Sunderland continue to defy expectations in their first season back in the Premier League, going unbeaten through September to end the month fifth in the table. The Black Cats conceded only one goal all month, and that was in a 1-1 draw with Aston Villa when they were reduced to 10 men. Sunderland held unbeaten Crystal Palace to a goalless draw, while they ended the month by beating Forest 1-0 at City Ground.
