No Ronaldo vs. Messi at Club World Cup 2025

Fans might have to wait for the 2026 World Cup as the Ronaldo vs Messi showdown will not be happening at the 2025 club World Cup.
Cristiano Ronaldo in his latest pre match press conference ahead of the Portugal vs Spain UEFA Nations League final has confirmed that we would not be getting the highly anticipated Ronaldo vs Messi showdown at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.
With his contract with Al Nassr in its final days, Ronaldo revealed that it is almost decided that he would not be available for the FIFA Club World Cup 2025 despite receiving offers from different clubs in regards to this.
Ronaldo also added that a decision in terms of where he wants to future has to be carefully and hastily decided.
He stated, “It’s almost decided that I will NOT take part at the FIFA Club World Cup despite receiving many invitations and proposals. There have been talks, contacts… but you have to think about short, medium and long term”.

Speaking on his relationship with Messi Ronaldo revealed that they are both on good terms with one another. He revealed that he has affections for the Argentine maestro indicating that Messi treated him well and also respected him.
