Nicolas Jackson in his recent post on social media has slammed former Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi following his goal against Wolves.

Following his first goal of the 2024/2025 season for Chelsea against Wolves, Nicolas Jackson has slammed the former Chelsea midfielderJohn Mikel Obi following his criticism of his performance in the opening fixture against Man City.

The Senegalese forward kicked off the scoring just 98 seconds into the Premier League match at Molineux Stadium and later set up Cole Palmer for Chelsea's second goal with a long-range strike.

His performance came just a week after former Chelsea star Mikel criticized Jackson's showing in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City, questioning his suitability for the club.

Mikel in the commentary session with Bein sports stated, "You need a striker who can consistently find the back of the net, and that's what we're lacking. I know I criticize him often, and it might seem disrespectful, but it's not. Chelsea needs a top striker who can score goals."

Following his strong display against Wolves, Jackson responded to Mikel's comments on social media, tagging him in an Instagram Story with the message: "Shut your mouth, don't talk nonsense. We are giving our all for Africa."
