Chelsea star player returns from injury

The supporters of Chelsea Football Club can ease a sigh of relief following the return of their forward player, Nicolas Jackson from injury ahead of the remaining part of the season ( 2024/25).
The Senegalese international has been injured since mid-February which has been a big blow to Chelsea as they have struggled in front of goal. Chelsea posted the picture of Nicolas Jackson for the first time since he picked up the injury in the club's victory over West Ham United.
However, the head coach of Chelsea, Enzo Maresca is yet to confirm if Nicolas Jackson will be part of the London derby against Tottenham Hotspur on Thursday, April 3, 2025. The Blues have struggled to score goals since the absence of their first-choice striker, this has also affected Cole Palmer's goal returns.
What happened to Nicolas Jackson?
Nicolas Jackson has been sidelined since February after picking up a hamstring injury against West Ham. The coach, Enzo Maresca was initially hopeful that Jackson would return relatively quickly, but scans showed a more severe damage which ruled him out for over a month.
How many goals has Jackson scored for Chelsea this season?
He has scored nine goals and created five assists in 22 Premier League games so far this season most of which came in the early part of the campaign.
However, there was no picture of Noni Madueke who has also been sidelined for over a month which is also due to injury.
