Chelsea's forward player, Nicolas Jackson was at loggerheads with a fan at Stamford Bridge after the defeat against Brentford.

The Senegalese international has been scrutinized by the supporters of the club for most of this season following his poor performance for the Blues. Chelsea's head coach, Mauricio Pochettino had to intervene in the dispute between both parties after the disappointing result at the Bridge.

Pochettino explained what happened in the post-match press conference.

He said,

"One fan said wake up and started to abuse a little bit.
Nicolas Jackson lost a little bit of focus. I then said stop talking this way, we need support, get behind the team, very respectful, and the fan was respectful. He said wake up and the player took it in a bad way. Nothing more."

Chelsea have been disappointing in their last two games against the Gunners and the Bees. They have secured just 12 points in their first ten games of the season.

The Blues face Blackburn next in the Carabao Cup after which they take a trip to White Hart Lane for a game against Tottenham.
