NFF release an official statement on the rumoured jersey for Nigeria at AFCON 2023

The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has released an official statement regarding pictures of the rumoured newly launched jersey for the Super Eagles ahead of AFCON 2023.

The football body debunked the reports stating that there is no newly announced official jersey for the Super Eagles of Nigeria ahead of the AFCON 2023 in Ivory Coast. The football body however stated that there is no new decision as 0of now which has led to the speculation that things might change on or before January 2024.

As the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations draws closer fans have raised eyebrows regarding the readiness of Nigeria as the newly announced 40-man squad list has sparked an intense debate on social media.

Highest fans tickets sold for AFCON 2023

In an official report shared by CAF, the countries with the highest numbers of tickets sold ahead of AFCON 2023 have been announced. Competition hosts, Ivory Coast leads the list with 28,614 tickets sold, Equatorial Guinea with 16,237 tickets, Nigeria with 12,544 and Senegal who are the defending champions in fifth place with 10,959 purchases.
