NFF Confirm Super Eagles vs Mexico Friendly Match | See Details

The Super Eagles of Nigeria have confirmed that they will play against the El Tri of Mexico later in the year.

Mexico has lined up a series of friendly games for the preparation ahead of the FIFA World Cup that will be hosted in Qatar later in November. The Super Eagles will also face Ecuador, another team that is preparing for the most lucrative football event around the world.

The game was confirmed on the official Twitter account of the NFF on Wednesday, April 13th, 2022. The Super Eagles will also use the game as they prepare for the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier which begins In July 2022.

The Super Eagles missed out on the FIFA World Cup after losing their qualifying game against the Black Stars of Ghana courtesy of an early goal from Thomas Partey at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja. The Nigerian team will also use te game to keep themselves fit and also use the opportunity to see other footballers.

The game will be played on May 28th, 2022 at the AT&T Stadium, Arlington, Texas.
