Newcastle United are reportedly interested in signing former Manchester United and Watford's striker, Odion Jude Ighalo.
The 32-year-old currently plays Al Shabab in Saudi Arabia. According to reports on the website of Sky Sports News, on Friday, December 24th, 2021. The Magpies have shown interest in signing the Nigerian and it is understood that Ighalo is open for a move back to the Premier League.
The Nigerian striker scored 40 goals for Watford during his time at the club from 2014 to 2017. He also scored five goals in 23 games during his one-year loan spell at Manchester United.
Ighalo is the joint leading goal scorer in the Saudi Professional League with nine goals, his contract ends in the summer of 2023.
