Notjustok has decided to highlight the most expensive transfers from the Bundesliga to the Premier League following the signing of Erling Haaland to Manchester City.

What is Transfer Fee?

The transfer fee is the amount that a club decides to pay if a player transfers before their contract expires, the new club pays compensation to the old one. This is known as a transfer fee.

(1) Jadon Sancho: €85 million

England winger Jadon Sancho finalized his move to Manchester United from Borussia Dortmund by signing a five-year contract with the 13-time Premier League champions during the summer transfer window of 2021. The Red Devils paid Borussia Dortmund a transfer fee of 85 million euros.

The Belgian signed a six-year-deal with Manchester City in the summer of 2015 from Wolfsburg for a reported club-record fee of £55 million (€76 million), that deal made him the second most expensive transfer in British foot all history after Ángel Di María's move to Manchester United in 2014.

The 23-year-old made a transfer of €64 million from Borussia Dortmund to Stamford Bridge in January 2019 but was loaned back to Dortmund for the remainder of the 2018.
