Mitchy Batshuayi reportedly set to join a Premier League club

Former Chelsea player, Mitchy Batshuayi is reportedly set for a return to the Premier League to join Nottingham Forest.

Forest is looking to bring in more attacking players before the summer 2023 transfer window closes on Friday, September 1, 2023. Mitchy Batshuayi, who has spent the last two seasons in Turkey with Fenerbahce and Besiktas, will be a good addition for Steve Copper.

The reports from Turkey have confirmed that the Belgian International has reportedly already agreed personal terms with the Reds, but they are yet to reach a deal with Fenerbahce, who are asking £8 million for the forward player.

The 29-year-old had already had one spell in England when he joined Chelsea during the summer transfer window in 2016. Over the six years that he was contracted to the Blues, he only made 77 appearances for the club, scoring 25 goals

He will always be remembered for scoring the winner against West Bromwich Albion, which won the Blues the Premier League title in the 2016/17 season.
