Mikel Arteta speaks on Gabriel Magalhães' future at Arsenal

There have been rumours that Gabriel Magalhaes will leave Arsenal Football Club before the end of this summer transfer window due to a lack of game time.

The manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, confirmed after the game against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Monday, August 21, 2023, that the player is not for sale. According to him, the decision not to start Gabriel Magalhaes is not because of the clubs linked to the player.

Arteta said the defender will play a lot of games with this, despite not being in the first team in the last two games.

"Out of the starting XI due to offers? Nothing at all, it was just about games that we were expecting, trust me, Gabriel is gonna play a lot of games".

Gabriel was introduced in the second half of the game against Crystal Palace, which saw him give an above-average performance.
