Arsenal supporters will keep their fingers crossed as it concerns the future of Jorginho at the club when his contract expires at the end of this season ( 2023/24).

The manager of the club, Mikel Arteta spoke about the player's future in his pre-match conference ahead of the Premier League game against Brentford. According to the Spaniard, he loves Jorginho and what he contributes to the club.

He said,

“You know I don't discuss these things here, but I'm really happy with Jorgi, I think we all are. He contributes to make the team better, let's see."

Recall that Jorginho has expressed his desire to stay at the Emirates and also win trophies at the club. He was asked if there was a possibility that he would return to Italy or stay with the Gunners.

"Back to Italy? I’ve doubts as I’d like to return but I don’t know when is the right moment. I want to return to Italy but I feel to have still many things to achieve, I want to fight for titles at Arsenal."

Jorginho will hope he can win at least a trophy with this season and probably get a contract extension.
