The manager of Arsenal Football Club, Mikel Arteta has shared heartbreaking news with the supporters of the club ahead of the game against Chelsea.

The Spaniard confirmed that his team will be without William Saliba. He mentioned this in his pre-match conference ahead of the clash against the Blues.

He said,

He’s not going to be involved tomorrow. We will have to wait until the next game to see where we are.

The French defender picked up an injury in the Europa League game against Sporting Lisbon, he has missed the last six games, and the game against the Blues will be his seventh.

The Gunners have won just twice, drawing three games and losing to Man City in their Premier League title decider. Arsenal are currently placed second on the league table behind Manchester City.

If they beat the Blues then they can go back top of the table having played two games more.
