Mikel Arteta gives update on Timber and Partey's injury

The manager of Arsenal Football Club, Mikel Arteta has given an update on Jurrien Timber and Thomas Partey ahead of the second half of the season.

The Spaniard was speaking at a pre-match press conference ahead of the FA Cup game against Liverpool. He was asked about his close it was for Timber and Partey to return from injury.

"Jurrien Timber is still far from being back with us, it’s long-term injury. Thomas Partey? Unfortunately he’s still far from training for the team”

He also gave an update on Zinchenko's injury.

"Zinchenko is progressing well. We have another training session tomorrow & will evaluate if he's ready to play the game."

Arsenal have been on a bad patch heading into the game against Liverpool, the Gunners have managed just one win in their last five league games.
