Mikel Arteta breaks Sir Alex Ferguson's long-standing record

The manager of Arsenal Football Club, Mikel Arteta is doing a fantastic job in leading the Gunners to winning the Premier League title for the first time in 20 years.

The Gunners have not relented since the beginning of the season as they are currently in third place, two points behind league leaders, Liverpool. Arsenal have broken a lot of records this season and the latest that was broken is the club to score 300 goals in a single season having played fewer games.

Arsenal have now surpassed 300 goals in just 161 games, this feat places Arteta among the top managers in the league. Only Pep Guardiola, Jürgen Klopp, and Manuel Pellegrini achieved this total in fewer games.

This record puts Arteta in the same league as some of the most illustrious names in Premier League history. He reached the milestone quicker than iconic figures like Sir Alex Ferguson, Arsene Wenger, and Jose Mourinho.

Guardiola tops the list by reaching that feat in (120) games to reach 300 Premier League goals. Klopp (142) and Pellegrini (149).
