The future of Aaron Ramsdale at Arsenal football club has been uncertain in the past few months due to his inability to break into the Gunners' first team.

The England international has been playing second-fiddle to Brentford's David Raya arrived on a loan deal during the 2023 summer transfer window. Arsenal's manager, Mikel Arteta confirmed in a press conference that he is happy that the club has two fantastic goalkeepers and he wants Aaron Ramsdale to remain at the club.

"I want Aaron Ramsdale with us. I am very happy to have 2 very good goalkeepers and Aaron is staying with us. He i’s willing to play. Like any player, he wants to play for Arsenal. That’s what he wants to do."

However, there have been reports that Ramsdale is looking to leave the Gunners probably on a loan deal so that he can get enough games which will put him in the face of England's coach, Gareth Southgate ahead of the Euro 2024 which will be hosted in Germany.
