Midfielder Extends Contract with Chelsea Until 2024

Chelsea Football Club have extended the contract of its young midfielder, Billy Gilmour until the summer of June 2024.

CHELSEA FC SET TO LOSE ANOTHER PLAYER

Chelsea confirmed the news on its official website on Monday, June 13th, 2022. The Scottish player who recently turned 21-year-old was on loan at relegated Norwich City side during last season ( 2021/22).

Gilmour joined Chelsea in the summer transfer window of 2017 from his home town club, Rangers Football Club of Scotland. He was promoted to the first team of Chelsea under Frank Lampard during the 2019/20 season. He made his Blues debut in a home game against Sheffield United in August 2019 at the age of 18.

The Scot's performance was in games Everton and Liverpool during the 2019/20 season before the Covid-19 disrupted the league.
