The manager of Chelsea Football Club, Mauricio Pochettino, has praised Nicolas Jackson for his recent form in the past few games.

The Senegalese international has faced criticism from Chelsea supporters for frequently missing chances, especially in important games. However, Nicolas Jackson has recently found his goal-scoring form and has been instrumental in the Blues' push for a European spot at the end of the current 2023/24 season.

Pochettino expressed his satisfaction with Jackson's improvement during a pre-match press conference before Chelsea's upcoming game against Brighton and Hove Albion. He mentioned that Jackson has been working hard to reach his current form.

Pochettino stated,

"Nico Jackson has the potential to be a fantastic striker. It’s about patience and time. He has been working really hard, and he's changing people's opinions. I am pleased that now people are starting to see Nico the way we do."

The 22-year-old has scored in the last three league games for Chelsea against Tottenham, Aston Villa, and Nottingham Forest. If he scores against Brighton, he could become the first player to score in four consecutive Premier League games for Chelsea since Mason Mount in December 2021.

Jackson has scored 14 league goals and 17 goals in all competitions, in addition to providing seven assists.
