Mauricio Pochettino reacts to the penalty chaos against Everton
The 6-0 demolition of Everton at Stamford Bridge by Chelsea will not just be remembered because of the scoreline or Cole Palmer's goals but it will also be headlined by the chaos that happened among the Chelsea players
This is the second time this season that some of the players have shown indiscipline when it comes to who will take a penalty. The first incident happened in the game against Manchester United and now against Everton which involved Nicolas Jackson and Cole Palmer.
However, the manager of the club, Mauricio Pochettino has addressed the situation and has promised that such a situation will not repeat itself. He made this known while he was speaking during his post-match conference.
He said,
"Next time they’re all out. It’s not a joke.
It is impossible after a performance like this to have this behaviour. We have to learn a lot if we want to be a great team. Discipline is the most important thing in our team and the offensive players need to show they are hungry to score goals, but this type of situation I am not going to accept. I am going to be very strong. I promise this won't happen again."
