Mauricio Pochettino reacts to Moises Caicedo's transfer situation

The manager of Chelsea Football Club, Mauricio Pochettino has reacted to the latest Moises Caicedo transfer saga.

The Argentine was speaking at a press conference ahead of this weekend's league game against Liverpool at Stamford Bridge on Sunday, August 13, 2023. He affirmed that Chelsea want to sign top players before the transfer window closes but did not talk about Moises Caicedo.

"I never talk about players that don't belong to us. I am respectful. We are working really hard to try and add more players to the squad, we want to add quality”.

The Ecuadorian has been in the news since the start of the 2023 transfer window. Brighton are not bothered about the club that submits a bid; they are only keen to sell the player to the highest bidder.

Liverpool submitted a bid of £110 million for the player, but he rejected a move to Anfield. Caicedo has always maintained that he wants to join Chelsea and no other club.
